Meet the Visionary Leaders Guiding SNAP Education
Juliane Tuzzolo, Ed.D. — Founder & Executive Director
Experience:
Juliane brings more than 25 years of leadership in public education, with expertise spanning special education, student services, and systemic improvement. She has served in both school‑ and district‑level roles, including Director of Student Services, where she led programs for students with disabilities, developed supports for autism and behavioral needs, and coached educators across diverse settings. Her background includes extensive training in special education, administrative leadership, and program development, supported by advanced degrees from Loyola University Chicago and Northern Illinois University. At SNAP, Juliane guides strategic direction, designs professional learning, and partners with educators and families to strengthen systems of support.

Juliane leads strategic direction, service design, and client delivery. She works directly with families, facilitates professional development and mentors SNAP consultants.
Patrick Tuzzolo – Director of Strategic Partnerships & Organizational Development
Experience:
Patrick also brings over 25 years of leadership development and systems consulting across private and corporate sectors. His recent work includes coaching executives in high-pressure industries such as oil and gas, with a focus on remote and complex environments. He is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and specializes in sustainable, values-based leadership systems and organizational change.

Role at SNAP:
Patrick leads strategic partnerships, infrastructure planning, and long-term growth. He applies systems thinking to ensure SNAP scales with integrity and impact. He also co-develops leadership training programs for districts and partner agencies.

Though his professional background is not in special education, Patrick’s commitment to people-first systems and inclusive leadership fuels his belief in SNAP’s mission. For Patrick, SNAP represents an opportunity to apply his coaching expertise to one of the most human-centered challenges: supporting families, educators, and responders in creating stronger, more empathetic systems for people with disabilities.
His guiding principle is empowerment—equipping others to lead with compassion, confidence, and clarity, even in situations that can feel isolating or overwhelming.
